Abstract submission for the EASST 2022 Conference is now open.

Each participant can submit and present only one abstract as first author (there are NO limitations for co-authoring).The submitting author will be considered the presenting author.

There are two ways how to take part in EASST 2022:
1.- Presenting individual paper to an open panel
2.- Organizing a closed panel

Deadline: February 7th, 2022

1.- Presenting individual paper to an open panel:

Individual paper submissions should be in the form of abstracts of up to 300 words. They should include the paper’s main arguments, methods, and contributions to STS.
Over 90 open panel proposals have been accepted for the EASST 2022 conference.
When submitting papers to open panels on the submission platform, you will select the open panel you are submitting to. Papers submitted to an open panel will be reviewed by the open panel convenor(s) and will be given first consideration for that session. The submitting author will be considered as the presenting author. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words and be submitted in English.

2.- Presenting a closed panel:

Closed panel proposals should contain a summary and rationale of up to 500 words, including a brief discussion of its contribution to STS (please consult the focus and themes of the conference before submitting) and be submitted in English. A closed panel can extend across a maximum of two sessions and  may contain  between 4-10 paper abstracts.
Submitting a panel involves some extra steps. Panel organizers are responsible for assigning roles to each presenter and entering the titles and abstracts for all presentations in their panels. As soon as you send your closed panel form be aware that you will get a link at the end of the confirmation email to submit one by one all the abstracts. Please, note that the scientific committee will take the final decision about panel composition. If your proposal contains fewer than five papers, the committee may (in consultation with organizers) assign additional papers to your panel to optimize scheduling and participation.

We invite you to submit your abstract until 7th February. We remind you that abstracts sent by email would not be accepted.
